Medical Practice Administrator

At Chewy Vet Care we're changing the veterinary care experience! With the launch of our new veterinary practices, we are looking for a full-time Practice Manager to join our Healthcare Practice Team. As a clinical team member, you'll work in a practice crafted from the ground up by veterinarians, equipped with advanced equipment and purpose-built technology so that you can practice your best medicine and focus on patient and pet parent care. Responsible for supporting the paraprofessional staff in implementing the outlined policies and procedures, utilizing integrated technology, and managing the practice operational functions. Provide staff management with a primary responsibility of overseeing their operational performance and coordinate work schedules for the team. Demonstrate team support and care for others' work experiences by conducting staff reviews, handling their concerns, and mentoring Team Members with their career development. Lead team coordination of inventory cycle counts and fulfill inventory needs requests. Engage with clients to ensure they receive the ultimate treatment and resolve conflicts or complaints. Ensure the equipment and clinic are well maintained, and OSHA guidelines are followed. review SOPs and practice metrics to help improving their performance. Be a PIMS administrative super-user and provide assistance to others on the team in their use of the technology. Participation in self-development courses and Chewy Vet Care required compliance training. Oversee operating, safety, and compliance procedures as required by applicable law and Chewy Vet Care processes and policies. Position may require some travel. 2 years of supervised experience with veterinary radiation machines preferred ~ Standing or walking up to 80% per shift.
