Temporary HR Generalist

LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a growing organization. Our client is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to provide temporary support to the Human Resources team. This role will be responsible for handling a variety of HR functions, including employee relations, onboarding, benefits administration, recruiting support, compliance, and HR administrative tasks.The ideal candidate will be a hands-on HR professional who can work independently, maintain confidentiality, and support employees and leadership in a fast-paced environment.


Temporary HR Generalist



Location: Exton, PA

Position Type: Temporary (3-6 Months, with potential extension)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, Standard Business Hours

Pay Rate: $28-$35/hour (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a point of contact for employee HR-related questions and concerns.
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities, including new hire paperwork and orientation.
• Support recruitment efforts by scheduling interviews, communicating with candidates, and assisting hiring managers throughout the hiring process.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
• Assist with benefits administration, open enrollment activities, and employee benefit inquiries.
• Support performance management processes, employee engagement initiatives, and employee relations matters.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.
• Assist with policy interpretation and enforcement.
• Prepare HR reports and track key employee data using HRIS and Microsoft Excel.
• Coordinate leave of absence and accommodation documentation.
• Support payroll processing by ensuring employee information is accurate and up to date.
• Assist with audits, compliance projects, and other HR initiatives as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• 3+ years of Human Resources experience in a Generalist or similar HR role.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and employee relations.
• Experience supporting recruiting, onboarding, benefits, and HR compliance activities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Experience working with HRIS systems and payroll platforms preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
