JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global is seeking an experienced CNC Repair Technician with deep expertise supporting 5-axis CNC machinery, Siemens and Fanuc control systems, and laser tracking equipment. This role will focus on troubleshooting, repairing, calibrating, and maintaining advanced manufacturing equipment in a high-precision environment where Siemens and Fanuc machines make up the majority of the production floor.
The successful candidate will perform diagnostics, repairs, testing, calibration, and preventative maintenance activities while supporting equipment reliability and operational performance.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 8+ years of relevant experience
- Strong experience repairing and maintaining 5-axis CNC machines
- Hands-on experience with laser tracking systems for machine alignment, calibration, precision measurement, and verification
- Strong understanding of Siemens and Fanuc controls, PLC interfaces, relays, hydraulics, pneumatics, servo systems, and electro-mechanical equipment
- Experience troubleshooting complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and control system issues
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, technical manuals, and test procedures
- Experience performing equipment diagnostics, calibration, testing, repair, and preventive maintenance
