Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Profession: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Variable shift start times, 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Michigan License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have Skills: General procedures including angiography, angioplasty, arterial line insertion, coronary angioplasty, CTO, intra-aortic balloon, Impella, intravascular ultrasound, pan table, stent placement, thrombolysis, venography, wave wire Hemodynamic and other calculations Right and left heart catheterization Structural heart procedures Vascular interventional Description: This position is for a cardiac cath lab technician in a specialty care hospital. The hospital features a heart and vascular institute, among other specialized care services. The cath lab conducts various cardiac procedures and is well-equipped for advanced imaging and surgery. The patient population consists primarily of adults and geriatric patients. The role involves participation in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures aimed at cardiovascular health. The technician will engage in emergency procedures and assist with peripheral and thoracic interventions. Call requirements involve responding within 30 minutes when called in for duty.
