About the Role IP Network Solutions Engineer will interface with customers to identify their needs and collaborate with engineering and operations departments to ensure a plan is in motion to improve the customer’s experience. The position requires high‑level thinking to architect solutions across a variety of hardware and a passion for focusing and committing. What You’ll Do Collaborate with sales and product teams to understand customer requirements and design tailored satellite communication solutions. Conduct site surveys and feasibility studies to determine the best solutions for new customers. Oversee the installation, configuration, and testing of Quvia systems on maritime verticals. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all solutions and services provided. Act as a technical advisor to customers, offering guidance on best practices and optimal usage of satellite communication systems. Conduct training sessions and workshops for customers and internal teams on the operation and maintenance of satellite systems. Stay updated on the latest advancements in Quvia systems. Coordinate with cross‑functional teams, including sales, product management, and service delivery, to ensure successful project execution. What You’ll Need Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field. At least 3–5 years of experience in satellite communications, with a focus on the maritime industry. At least 3–5 years of experience in core IP and network engineering. Proven knowledge of managing virtual infrastructure using VMware vSphere, Hyper‑V, or KVM. Experience with Next‑Generation Firewalls (NGFW) and SD‑WAN platforms such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco (Meraki/Viptela), or similar enterprise solutions. Satellite communication (SATCOM) systems knowledge and experience is a plus; a thorough understanding of computer hardware and operating systems. Proficiency in networking concepts, IP routing, and RF engineering. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non‑technical stakeholders. Project management experience and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
