Pay: $22/hour
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM

Job Summary:
The Bookkeeper will manage the church’s financial records and day-to-day bookkeeping activities. This position will handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, payroll, and maintaining accurate financial information. The ideal candidate will be trustworthy, organized, detail-oriented, and committed to supporting the mission and values of the church.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial and bookkeeping records.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Process payroll and maintain payroll records.
• Reconcile bank and financial accounts.
• Track income, expenses, deposits, and payments.
• Prepare basic financial reports for church leadership.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial and employee information.
• Work with pastors, staff, and church associates as needed.
• Assist with budgets and other financial administrative duties.

Requirements:

• Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred.
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and reconciliations.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic computer and accounting software skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Must be a committed person who supports the church’s faith, mission, and values.
• Ability to work respectfully with pastors, staff, volunteers, and church members.
