Hours of work: Mondays - Fridays, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 40 Hours/Week. Preferred hours are 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Responsibilities The Mechanical Designer III will prepare detailed drawings and bills of material for all equipment products, perform vessel and piping design functions, and prepare Submittal and O&M documents. The Mechanical Designer III will also review project and specifications and check drawings. Attend weekly staff meetings and project kick off meetings Prepare transmittal's, Submittals and O&Ms Review project and vendor specifications. Check drawings and documents Use the latest version of AutoCAD to design & produce detailed 3D drawings Increase knowledge of products from peers, plant visits and managers. Qualifications Associates degree (A.A.), or equivalent from two-year college or technical school is required A Driver’s License is required 2-3 years of Auto CAD 3D experience is required 3-5 years of Mechanical drafting & design experience is required 3-5 years Piping design experience is required About Calgon Carbon, A Kuraray Company We are a company of scientific innovators with over 205 patents.
