This role provides essential support to both front-office and back-office clinic operations, ensuring efficient patient flow and a seamless care experience. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate documentation, supporting clinical staff, and delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Key duties include scheduling surgeries, obtaining insurance authorizations, and providing cross-coverage for both Medical Assistant and Front Desk responsibilities during staff absences.

• Greet patients and visitors in a professional, friendly manner.
• Check patients in and out, verify identification, and update demographic information.
• Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments.
• Answer incoming calls, route messages, and respond to general inquiries.
• Collect co-pays, balances, and process payments accurately.
• Verify insurance eligibility and obtain prior authorizations when needed.
• Maintain the reception area and ensure patient forms are up to date.
• Assist with scanning, filing, and maintaining electronic medical records (EMR).
• Schedule surgery, submit for insurance authorization.
• Room patients, take vital signs, and document patient histories.
• Prepare exam rooms, ensure cleanliness, and maintain necessary supplies.
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, and treatments as needed.
• Administer injections, perform basic laboratory tests, and conduct specimen collection (according to scope and training).
• Update charts, record clinical data, and ensure accurate documentation.
• Monitor inventory levels for medications, medical supplies, and office supplies.
• Support medication management, including logging, labeling, and expiration tracking.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times.
