Student Services Assistant

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Serve as receptionist for the Counseling Services offices and staff persons Provide clerical and programmatic support for the Counseling Services Division Screen visitors, assist with acquisition of services/preliminary tasks and maintain logs Provide secretarial support for special programs as needed Perform general secretarial duties throughout the Counseling Services division as requested Receive and distribute correspondence Maintain an inventory of office supplies, forms, equipment, etc., and prepare requisitions as needed Use a variety of software and equipment to prepare reports, letters, memoranda and other materials related to the operations/services throughout Counseling Services Maintain and safeguard documents, general files, and other pertinent information Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications High School Diploma or GED At least 3 years of recent experience working in a fast-paced office setting Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Application Procedures/Additional Information Applicants must meet the minimum qualifications and must submit a complete application packet through the ONLINE application system ( by the deadline date in order to be considered for the position.
