Position: Business Manager Reports to: Lead Pastor Position Status: Part‑time | 30 Hours per Week | Salaried Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church (Midlothian, VA) seeks a part‑time Business Manager. This position coordinates closely with the church’s Leadership Board and reports directly to the Lead Pastor. Key Responsibilities Accounting/bookkeeping, general ledger, accounts receivable/payable, financial reporting, and insurance administration on behalf of the church Contribution management (maintains financial records of cash, check, stock, and electronic contributions) and reporting Employee payroll and benefits administration Personnel records management Attends weekly staff meetings Required Qualifications Bachelor’s or associate degree in accounting or business administration (or comparable work experience) Bookkeeping experience Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite to include Excel and Word Detail oriented and able to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity Strong analytical and verbal communication skills Familiarity and experience in nonprofit accounting (preferred) PowerChurch software experience (preferred) TO APPLY Please submit a cover letter and resume to View email address on click.appcast.io #J-18808-Ljbffr Vaumc
