Delivery HelperThe primary functions of the Delivery Helper are to load materials, locate jobsites, assist with backing procedures, prepare and restore jobsites, prepare the truck for the following day, and maintain the truck and equipment.Key ResponsibilitiesComply with company, state, and federal guidelines, particularly as they relate to OSHA and DOT requirements for the safety of all personnel.Perform pre-trip inspections of equipment, paperwork, and loaded product to ensure order accuracy.Safely unload product and deliver materials to the assigned area as directed by the customer.Secure mud, equipment, metal, pallets, and other materials on the truck.Navigate routes to jobsites.Assist with maintaining trucks and equipment in a safe and clean condition.Help prepare trucks and materials for the following day's deliveries.Perform additional duties as assigned.Reports to the department manager. No direct reports.Frequent local travel to customer jobsites as part of daily delivery operations.Works primarily in outdoor jobsites and customer locations. Starting wage may vary based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position being offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. SRS Distribution offers additional competitive and non-financial benefits. Hourly associates may be eligible for overtime based on business needs.
