Public Relations Specialist job at Vuzix Corp. West Henrietta, NY. The Public Relations Specialist will play an essential role in shaping and communicating our brand narrative to diverse audiences, enhancing our visibility, and establishing Vuzix as a thought leader in the AR industry. Responsibilities Develop and execute strategic public relations campaigns to enhance Vuzix's brand visibility. Write and distribute press releases, media kits, and other communication materials. Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts across various outlets. Manage crisis communication strategies and respond to media inquiries in a timely manner. Conduct media training for company spokespeople and prepare them for interviews. Monitor media coverage and industry trends to identify opportunities for proactive outreach. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging across all channels. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in public relations or communications, preferably in technology or related industries. Proven ability to create engaging content for various media outlets and platforms. Strong understanding of media relations and PR strategies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Familiarity with AR technologies and market trends is a plus.
