Quick Facts: Location: Youngstown, OH (1044 Belmont Avenue) Start Date: 09/06/2026 Duration: Ongoing until further notice Shift: 5 days/week including call, possible weekends Hours/Week: 40 hours Employment Type: Locum / Temporary License/Certs: Ohio Medical License, Board Certified in Surgery or Vascular Surgery preferred Experience: Prior hospital-based vascular surgery experience required Pay & Benefits: Competitive hourly pay (pay rate discussed upon application) Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time in accordance with all applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and reimbursement when applicable Robust referral bonus program and dedicated support team What You ll Do: Provide inpatient and emergency department vascular surgery coverage Conduct surgical procedures and manage post-op care Collaborate with hospital staff and multidisciplinary teams Participate in call rotations with an estimated callback time of 1 hour Support the hospital s Level 1 trauma services as needed What You Need: Ohio medical license and board certification in surgery or vascular surgery Minimum of 2+ years relevant hospital-based experience Strong surgical skills with a focus on vascular procedures Ability to work independently and handle emergency cases effectively About the Assignment: This position at a leading hospital in Youngstown involves inpatient vascular surgery coverage, including emergency cases, with the opportunity to impact patient outcomes directly. The facility is equipped with advanced EMR systems (EPIC), comprehensive diagnostic tools, and a supportive team environment. Credentialing is estimated to take approximately 120 days.
