Senior Structural Steel Detailer

Leading the production of high-quality structural steel fabrication drawings, the full-time Senior Structural Steel Detailer will utilize advanced Tekla Structures to manage complex projects, collaborate with engineers and project managers, and guide junior detailers, with remote work opportunities available. Key responsibilities Lead Tekla modeling and detailing for complex projects, ensuring deliverables meet fabrication and erection requirements Develop detailed 3D models and fabrication drawings, while coordinating with team members for accuracy and efficiency Produce shop drawings, erection drawings, and material take-offs, and perform QA/QC checks on final outputs Required qualifications 8+ years of experience as a Tekla Detailer (structural steel) with leadership experience Advanced proficiency in Tekla Structures and strong knowledge of AISC codes Ability to read and interpret construction documents and perform clash detection Experience managing projects independently while leading a detailing team Strong communication and teamwork abilities
