What You'll Do

Provide expert nursing care to ICU patients, respecting patient privacy and adapting communication style accordingly
Utilize the Nursing Process to assess, plan, and deliver care effectively
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Educate patients and families, addressing their needs with sensitivity
Manage and delegate nursing team resources, maintaining high standards of care
Document patient progress accurately within EPIC or similar systems
Follow safety protocols, including infection control and handling hazardous materials

What You Need

Required:

Valid RN license in Louisiana
BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications from the American Heart Association
Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, ICU experience preferred
Proficiency in EPIC documentation and excellent communication skills

Preferred:

Bachelor's degree in Nursing or higher
Certification in a clinical specialty area
Strong interpersonal and judgment skills
