Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines, using critical thinking, professional judgment, and supervisory discretion.
- Assess patient status, implement care plans, administer medications as ordered, monitor outcomes, and document care accurately.
- Provide effective patient education, discharge planning, and ensure safety, privacy, and quality of care throughout the shift.
- Collaborate with the ER team in a fast-paced environment, participate in triage, prioritization, and interdisciplinary communication.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license for the state of California
- Emergency Room nursing experience or recent ER practice preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts
- Willingness to travel for a short-term assignment and adapt to new teams and protocols
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
