Position: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Location: Near Pleasant Hill, CA Duration: September to January (Maternity Leave Coverage) Schedule: Full-time, 35 hours per week Caseload: 15-20 Students Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled BCBA to provide maternity leave coverage near Pleasant Hill, CA, from September to January. The role involves managing a caseload of 15-20 students, conducting assessments, and collaborating with educators and families to create and implement effective behavior intervention plans. Key Responsibilities: Perform functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and design behavior intervention plans (BIPs) tailored to each student's needs. Offer guidance and support to teachers, staff, and families in implementing behavior management strategies. Monitor and assess the effectiveness of interventions, making adjustments as needed. Work closely with IEP teams to ensure that behavior goals align with students' educational objectives. Provide training and oversight to paraprofessionals and other staff involved in behavior support. Maintain comprehensive documentation of student progress and behavior interventions.
