In this contract position, you’ll work with approximately 30 students district-wide, offering vital support and interventions that help them succeed in their educational goals. Flexible scheduling is available: enjoy full-time hours at 32.5 per week, or choose a reduced 4-day schedule with 24 hours.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in the state
• Experience or strong interest in working within school settings
• Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapting interventions for diverse learning needs
• Effective collaboration skills for partnering with teachers, families, and other specialists
• Strong communication and organization abilities

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to a caseload of about 30 students across multiple schools within the district
• Assess students and develop targeted intervention strategies to promote fine/gross motor, sensory processing, and adaptive skills
• Contribute to multidisciplinary teams in developing and updating IEP goals and participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation for evaluations, progress notes, and required reports
• Collaborate with school staff and families to ensure carryover of strategies and support across environments
