Horizon Christian Academy is a growing Christ-centered school in Cumming, Georgia, committed to developing students spiritually, academically, socially, and physically.A High School Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering engaging, standards-based science instruction that inspires curiosity, critical thinking, and a deeper appreciation for God’s creation. The ideal candidate creates a classroom culture where students are challenged academically, encouraged spiritually, and known personally. Key Responsibilities Teach engaging, standards-based high school science courses Design hands-on labs and inquiry-based learning experiences Create a classroom culture where students feel challenged, encouraged, and known Integrate biblical principles naturally into science instruction Inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of learning Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Science, Science Education, or a related field Georgia teaching certification (or eligibility to obtain certification) Active & growing relationship with Jesus Christ Agreement with Horizon Christian Academy’s Statement of Faith and mission Strong classroom management and instructional skills #J-18808-Ljbffr Horizon Christian Academy
