Physician - Employed

The physician is responsible for providing various services to patients. Friendly, caring, courteous, and professional attitude must be displayed at all times as this person has front‑line contact with patients and families. Responsibilities Perform clinical, supervisory, administrative, and other duties as assigned by the company. Perform duties determined by the company based on patient needs, including location and schedule. Provide reasonable call coverage, participate in administrative and committee meetings, and may serve as the supervising physician of physician assistants employed by the company. If supervising physician assistants, enter into a delegation agreement as required by Arizona law. Perform all duties to the best of skill and ability in a manner satisfactory to the company. Accurately maintain, timely prepare, preserve records, and make required reports. Perform duties in accordance with applicable standards of care, professional associations, and the ethics of the American Medical Association or American Osteopathic Association, and all federal, state, municipal laws and regulations. Adhere to all written policies, rules, procedures, handbooks, and standards established by AZCCC, including utilization review, quality assessment, and continuing medical education. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited college of medicine with a valid unrestricted license issued by the Arizona Medical Board. Registered with the United States Department of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration and maintain a valid unrestricted controlled substance registration certificate.
