About the Position
TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Englewood, Colorado, 80113!
Job Title: RN - PACU Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Post Anesthesia Care Unit Duration: Seasonal Travel Shift: Evening to Night Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Current Registered Nurse license Certifications: PALS, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Critical Care experience and/or PACU experience Description: This is a seasonal travel position for a Registered Nurse in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit. The shift is from 3:30 PM to 4:00 AM. The role involves caring for patients recovering from anesthesia. The unit is equipped with GE monitors and utilizes electronic medical records. All staff members are expected to float between different areas as necessary. Patient ratios are typically 1 RN to 2 patients. Same-day surgery patients may require 1 RN to care for up to 3 patients at a time. Candidates should have experience with high neuro volume and stroke care. Preferred skills include familiarity with interventional radiology and various surgical procedures. The work environment values flexibility and a positive attitude.
