Business Unit Manager

Our San Francisco hub is looking for a Business Unit Manager to support and accelerate our growth across the Bay Area and California . This will be a hybrid position with 3 days a week onsite in San Francisco. Who We Are MIGSO-PCUBED is a global consulting company specialized in Project, Program and Portfolio Management . We support organizations delivering complex transformation, technology, and industrial programs. This role is designed for someone who wants to develop a market, build strong client relationships and grow a consulting activity in one of the most dynamic ecosystems in the world. You will work closely with the California leadership team to expand our presence across key industries in the region. Your Mission Your objective is to build and grow a consulting business in the Bay Area by developing strategic client relationships and structuring a strong consulting team. The role combines three main responsibilities: You will identify and develop opportunities across California , including: Biotech and life sciences Large technology organizations and hyperscale programs Scaling technology and industrial companies Infrastructure and data center environments You will build relationships with senior stakeholders , understand their transformation and delivery challenges, and position MIGSO-PCUBED as a partner for program delivery and project management excellence . Team building and leadership You will recruit and develop a team of consultants delivering project and program management services to our clients. Working with our Talent Acquisition team, you will: Identify and interview candidates Build a strong consultant team Coach and develop consultants throughout their assignments Support their professional growth and performance Business unit management You will manage and grow your own account portfolio , including: Profitability Client satisfaction Consultant engagement and development You will work closely with delivery leaders to ensure projects are successful and create long-term client partnerships. Who we are looking for We are looking for a business-minded professional with strong consulting acumen and good knowledge of the Bay Area ecosystem . 8+ years experience in consulting, advisory services, or business development Experience delivering and selling consulting services is preferred ability to engage with senior client stakeholders strong relationship-building and networking capabilities leadership mindset and ability to develop teams familiarity with the Bay Area market Experience in project, program or portfolio management environments is a strong plus. The reasonable estimate of the current total on-target-earning for this role is $200,000 – 300,000 annually for San Francisco, CA. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in an annual performance-based incentive program.
