Lot PorterLot Porters are responsible for the appearance of the new and used RV lots, including the cleanliness of the RV's and the general appearance of the sales area.Education: High school diploma, some college preferred.Experience:License or Certification: Valid driver's license and good driving record is requiredOne Year of Experience: A minimum of one-year detailing experience preferred. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Transport RV's to and from service bays, stores, gas stations, repair facilities, and locationsKeeps new- and used-vehicle lots neat and orderly, moving RV's as directed by the general manager and in accordance with dealership display standardsMake a daily inspection of showroom and service entrance doors and wash as necessaryKeep the sidewalk along with street free debrisMaintain Dealership premises as directed by Supervisor/ManagerDetail and make units ready for delivery, assist with pre-delivery inspectionsJanitorial workOther duties as assignedEnvironmental/Working Conditions:Slippery floorsOccasional exposure to extreme temperatures and weatherMay be exposed to solvents and chemicalsOther risks associated with working around machines, tools, and trucksThis is a safety-sensitive positionPhysical/Mental Demands: Varied activities including sitting, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, stooping. It requires eye-hand coordination, finger dexterity. Frequent lifting/carrying items up to 50 pounds. Occasional stress from balancing multiple projects and deadlines.Machines, Tools, Equipment and Software Used:Forklift and other towing vehiclesTypical Physical Demands:Ability to move RV's of various sizes as neededAbility to organize various physical tasks through adjusting, connecting, lifting, pulling, pushing, or bendingAbility to climb ladders, bend or stand for long periods of time.
