A busy heating, oil, and energy services company in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a reliable and organized Night Dispatcher to coordinate service operations during evening hours (2:00pm-11:00pm). The dispatcher will manage technician schedules, handle customer calls, prioritize emergency service requests, and ensure efficient communication between field staff and customers.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch heating and oil service technicians for emergency and scheduled calls
• Monitor technician locations, job progress, and completion times
• Answer incoming customer calls professionally and efficiently
• Prioritize emergency no-heat and fuel delivery situations
• Maintain accurate service logs, schedules, and customer records
• Communicate updates between customers, drivers, and technicians
• Coordinate after-hours service coverage and route adjustments
• Enter work orders and service information into dispatch software
• Ensure timely response to all customer service requests
• Assist with general administrative and operational support as needed

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years Dispatcher experience required 
• Strong communication and multitasking skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergencies
• Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with dispatch software
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Fully in- office (NOT HYBRID OR REMOTE)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in heating, HVAC, oil delivery, or energy industry is a plus
