Details Work in an Oncology Chemotherapy Infusion unit within a hospital setting Shift schedule of 4x10s, 40 hours per week, 0730-1800 No on-call responsibilities required May float in rotation, including serving as a sitter when needed Requirements Active WA State or compact RN license required Current BLS certification required OCN Chemo/Immunotherapy certification required and must be maintained Additional Information Coordinate and provide high-quality, compassionate patient care using the nursing process and unit-specific standards of practice Develop, implement, and continually reassess individualized patient care plans Administer medications and complete nursing procedures and treatments Evaluate discharge plans for appropriateness and educational needs Accurately document assessments, care provided, interventions, and patient responses Perform holistic, ongoing patient assessments and respond appropriately to changes in status Teach patients and families relevant health information in a timely manner Delegate appropriately and oversee care provided by non-licensed assistive personnel Communicate and collaborate with all members of the healthcare team Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff per hospital and unit policies American Traveler Job ID P-769493.
