Licensed Dispensing Pharmacist

We are seeking a licensed Dispensing Pharmacist to ensure the accurate, safe, and timely dispensing of medications to patients. This role is responsible for maintaining high standards of quality assurance, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting optimal patient outcomes. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-directed, and capable of making informed decisions in a fast-paced pharmacy environment.

Responsibilities

• Accurately review and dispense prescribed medications to patients
• Ensure adherence to quality assurance standards and internal review processes prior to shipment
• Maintain accurate tracking and documentation of prescriptions and dispensing activities
• Interpret prescriptions and determine appropriate dispensing actions
• Identify and resolve discrepancies or issues related to medication orders
• Collaborate with team members to ensure safe and efficient pharmacy operations
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on patient care and experience
• Utilize pharmacy systems and technology to support workflow and documentation

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited institution
• Active Pharmacist license in the applicable state(s) of practice
• Eligibility to participate in federal prescription programs
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with computer systems and pharmacy technology
• Passion for improving patient/consumer experience

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a high-volume retail, community, or mail-order pharmacy environment
