Position Overview

We are on the lookout for a dedicated Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist who will enhance our growing team of imaging experts committed to delivering remarkable patient care. You will harness cutting-edge ultrasound technology to conduct various diagnostic procedures, collaborate with a committed team of healthcare professionals, and instill tranquility in patients through precise and timely imaging.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diverse ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging.
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety, ensuring a clear and compassionate explanation of the process.
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver top-notch diagnostic images.
• Efficiently operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, promptly addressing any concerns.
• Document procedures accurately and maintain patient records within the electronic medical system.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in ultrasound techniques and best practices.

Educational Qualifications

• Possession of an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred.

Required Certifications

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or a comparable body.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is a plus.
