Position: Non-Emergency Medical Transport (NEMT) Driver Location: Indianapolis, IN Job Id: 216 # of Openings: 1 Non-Emergency Medical Transport (NEMT) Driver Location: Indianapolis, IN About Lynx Lynx EMS provides private ambulance services for smooth, dependable patient transport to local area hospitals from various locations, including homes, emergency rooms, long-term care, skilled nursing, assisted living facilities, psychiatric hospitals, and hospice care. We’re here to ensure safe, timely transport, including discharge services from any medical facility. Position Overview – Day Shift As a Day Shift NEMT Driver, you will play a vital role in supporting daytime transport operations, which represent one of our highest-demand service periods. Day shift team members are essential in managing scheduled medical appointments, dialysis transports, hospital discharges, and interfacility transfers. This position is ideal for individuals who are dependable, service-oriented, and interested in building a career in healthcare or emergency medical services. You will work closely with EMTs and medical staff to ensure patients are transported safely, comfortably, and efficiently throughout the day. Key Responsibilities Assist EMTs with non-emergency medical transports during scheduled daytime operations Safely transport non-ambulatory and mobility-assisted patients Properly load, secure, and unload patients using stretchers, wheelchairs, and safety equipment Ensure patient comfort, dignity, and professionalism at all times Maintain a clean, sanitized, and inspection-ready vehicle and equipment Complete required documentation accurately and in a timely manner Follow all company policies, DOT regulations, and safety protocols Communicate effectively with dispatch, healthcare facilities, patients, and team members What We’re Looking For Clean background check and driving record Ability to lift up to 150 lbs., and push, pull, bend, and move without restrictions Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team Reliable, punctual, and professional work ethic Compassionate, patient-focused attitude EMT certification not required (excellent opportunity for aspiring EMTs or those entering healthcare) This role is ideal for individuals seeking hands-on healthcare experience in a structured, team-oriented daytime environment.
