Overview Position Summary: Fully competent in one or more scientific/technical areas. Plans and conducts scientific as signments requiring mastery of specialized techniques. Networking/Key Relationships: Responsible for cross-functional collaboration for technical solutions related to released (on-market) product support primarily as well as working with R&D during new product development, with a focus on manufacturability and transfer into manufacturing. Frequent inter-organizational and outside. May represent the company to outside organizations on technical issues. The annual salary range Werfen reasonably expects to pay for the position is $110,000 to $130,000. Compensation is reasonably based upon multiple factors including education, relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, and specific needs of the business. Qualifications Minimum Knowledge & Experience Required for the Position: Education: Knowledge acquired through a Bachelor's, Master's Degree or Ph.D. Degree Experience: Bachelor's plus 7 years of relevant experience or Master's plus 5 years of relevant experience or Ph.D. degree plus 0 - 1 year of experience Hematology experience required, including expertise in blood analysis techniques, interpretation of hematologic data, and familiarity with relevant laboratory methodologies. Skills & Capabilities: Technical leadership, problem solving skills, effective time management, team manage ment, effective in building cross-functional relationships and effective communication. Duties require broad use and application of scientific principles, theories and concepts in field of expertise. Strong oral and written communication skills. Must demonstrate the ability to perform all duties and responsibilities higher than Scientist III level.
