Role Overview

As a Behavioral Svc Psychotherapist, you¿ll play a vital role in diagnosing and treating mental illness and substance use disorders. You¿ll provide evidence-based individual, conjoint, group, and family psychotherapy, as well as crisis intervention services. Your work will ensure that patients receive care that is safe, effective, timely, and equitable, making a meaningful impact on their lives.

What You Will Do

• Provide evidence-based care in the diagnosis and treatment of mental illness and substance use disorders.
• Conduct individual, conjoint, group, and family psychotherapy sessions.
• Offer crisis intervention services as needed.
• Ensure the quality of care is safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care.

What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

• Masters (or Doctoral) degree in clinical or counseling psychology with one year of supervised post-masters experience; OR Masters degree in Social Work with two years of post-masters experience in mental health/chemical dependency setting.
• Licensed Psychologist; OR Limited Licensed Psychologist; OR Licensed Masters in Social Work.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in an interdisciplinary team setting.
• Specialization in substance use disorder treatment.
