Registered Nurse - Lead for Labor & Delivery

Location: San Luis Obispo, CA

Specialization: Labor & Delivery

Employment Type: Travel

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Compensation: $2169 - $2614 | Shift: 3x12 Nights

In the role of Labor & Delivery Nurse Lead, you will be instrumental in delivering exceptional care to mothers and their newborns. Your leadership and expertise will guide the team through challenging yet rewarding scenarios, significantly impacting the lives of patients and their families.

Oversee and mentor the Labor & Delivery team during night shifts
Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and safety regulations
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes
Maintain precise and timely documentation
Engage in staff training and professional development
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant setting
At least 2 years of supervisory experience required
Experience as a Charge Nurse is essential
Required certifications: NRP, ACLS, BLS, AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring (within the last 2 years)
