Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the hospital location, including entrances, parking areas, hallways, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assisting with directions, entry procedures, and reporting unusual behavior or policy concerns to site leadership.
• Support healthcare operations by helping with de-escalation, escort requests, and other security-related duties that align with the needs of a patient care environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 1+ years of security-related experience is required.
• Hospital-required vaccines are required.
• Ability to work in a hospital morgue environment is required.
• Ability to restrain individuals is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
