Clinical Research Associate

Position: Clinical Research Associate (CRA) Location: Redwood City, CA Length: 6+ Month Contract Job Description Were seeking a Clinical Research Associate (CRA) with strong clinical monitoring experience to support a growing clinical team. This is a monitoring-focused role supporting multiple ongoing clinical studies. What You'll Do Conduct interim monitoring visits for clinical studies. Participate in the team's monthly Central Monitoring process, spending three consecutive days onsite reviewing study documentation across multiple active trials. Review and evaluate: Chain of custody records Laboratory batch exports Quality Control (QC) metrics Identify documentation issues and ensure compliance with study protocols, GCP, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support successful study execution. What We're Looking For Previous Clinical Research Associate (CRA) experience with hands-on clinical monitoring. Strong understanding of: Clinical monitoring processes Good Clinical Practice (GCP) Good Documentation Practice (GDP) Ability to discuss monitoring activities, documentation review, and issue identification during the interview process. Experience working for a CRO or sponsor organization is welcomed. Preferred Qualifications Experience in IVD (In Vitro Diagnostics), clinical diagnostics, or medical devices is a plus, but not required.
