Occupational Therapist

Overview Job Title: Occupational Therapist Location: Norfolk, VA Salary: $39-44 per hour Schedule: 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday, no weekend rotation Facility: 220-bed Skilled Nursing Facility and Long Term Care facility About the Facility: Our facility is located just minutes from downtown Norfolk and a short 10 minute drive to the beach and ocean. Responsibilities Conduct patient evaluations to determine physical and cognitive abilities, limitations, and goals Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' needs and goals Provide therapeutic interventions, exercises, and activities to help patients improve their motor skills, coordination, and daily living skills Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and speech therapists, to ensure comprehensive care for patients Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed Educate patients and their families on how to continue their progress and maintain their independence after leaving our facility Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Current state license as an Occupational Therapist Minimum of 1 year of experience in a SNF or long term care setting preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care Benefits Competitive salary Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Continuing education opportunities Supportive and collaborative work environment #J-18808-Ljbffr Trinity Healthcare Talent Services, LLC
