EMT or Paramedic (Full-Time)

Full‑Time EMT or Paramedic – Onsite Health Technician (Stuarts Draft, VA) Location: Stuarts Draft, VA. This full‑time position operates on a rotating schedule that includes 10‑hour and 12‑hour shifts with several consecutive days off each month. Schedule sample: Week 1 – Sunday & Saturday: 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM Thursday & Friday: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM Week 2 – Sunday, Friday & Saturday: 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM Week 3 – (schedule varies) Week 4 – Monday & Tuesday: 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM Responsibilities: Administer and manage health service functions and daily clinic operations. Provide superior customer service to Medcor’s client and employees. Assess and treat workplace injuries and illnesses per Medcor’s Evidence‑Based Medicine protocols (MCPs). Build and maintain internal team relationships. Support onsite employee health and wellness efforts. Collaborate with client professionals in health, safety, and environmental practices. Collaborate with client Human Resources and benefits professionals on clinic issues. Document and manage information using electronic medical records (EMR) software and other tools. Conduct pre‑employment and post‑offer screenings. Perform Physical Assessment Testing (PATs). Manage case‑management activities. Maintain OSHA record‑keeping. Qualifications (You Must): Work independently with strong time‑management and organizational skills. Hold valid licensure applicable to the EMT or Paramedic role and current CPR/BLS certification. Proficient with computers, mobile devices, texting, fax, and familiar with EMR software. Capable of lifting a 50 lb. emergency response bag. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Positive, outgoing personality. Willing to go above and beyond. Passionate about people and delivering high‑quality care. Can maintain a sense of fun in the workplace. Preferred (It’s a Plus If): Comfortable working in a worksite clinic environment. Relevant occupational health experience. Experience in emergency medicine or critical care. Compensation and Benefits: Sign‑On Bonus: $3,000. Hourly pay: $29.00–$31.00. Paid time off, health and dental insurance, 401(k) with company match, education reimbursement.
