Opportunity:

RN - MedSurg

Job Details:

• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Guaranteed 48 hours per week with overtime after 48 hours worked
• Float to all inpatient units as needed
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
• Low census eligible for up to 36 unbillable hours - may be asked to work only 4 or 8 hours of a shift in 4-hour increments
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required; Trauma Level II experience highly preferred
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS (AHA or ARC)
• EPIC charting experience required
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Care for adult patients with respiratory illnesses, stroke, neurological conditions, gastrointestinal illness, diabetic management, renal failure, urinary tract disorders, sepsis, wound care, clotting disorders, infectious disease processes, and acute alcohol withdrawal
• Typical patient ratios: 1:4-5 on days and 1:6-7 on nights
• Must be a hard worker, resilient, and able to manage change well
• Must be able to work independently, complete tasks in a timely manner, and collaborate with team and ancillary staff
• Positive attitude and flexibility with constant changes throughout a shift required
• Scrub colors: any color

The facility operates as a Trauma Level II center and offers advanced services including neurological care, cardiovascular services, and a dedicated medical and pediatrics unit.
