Material Handler

The Material Handler role is an integral role in our business as the speed, accuracy and efficiency of this person ensures we meet our production goals. As a Material Handler you will be critical to our success we'll be counting on you to be excellent every day.

DeKalb Metal Finishing has been a leading electroplating company for more than 70 years and offers a range of plating services for the automotive industry. Job Classification: Shop

Department: Production

Reports To: Plant Manager

Work Environment: Work is performed in manufacturing facility.

Job Summary: Perform the tasks specified by the Plant Manager, Supervisor and Line Leader. From time to time must be willing to perform other tasks as specified by members of Management.

Level Of Authority: Performs duties with a high level of supervision.

Duties And Responsibilities:

Rack and package parts in the manor specified by the customers work instructions.
Maintain a clean work area.
Clean common areas as instructed.

Physical Requirements: Job involves continuous standing in place and repetitious movements. Parts vary in weight but are not typically more than 20 lbs.

Minimum Qualifications: Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job and work in a team setting.
