In this role, you'll provide vital care to patients in a fast-paced environment, handling a variety of emergencies. You will collaborate with our skilled medical team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes. The typical day includes varying patient caseloads with opportunities to specialize in pediatric emergency care. Our Middletown Emergency Department operates on rotating shifts to cater to patient needs. Common Diagnosis/Treatment: Freestanding emergency department that cares for any type of emergency that self presents along with limited EMS presentation # of beds: 21-30 Nurse to Patient Ratio: 1:4 typically Charting: Cerner Scrub Color: blue-navy Areas of Float Support: Do not float outside of the Emergency Department. Some staff do extra time in either CED or WED. Special Procedures: Moderate Sedation, Stroke codes, Heart Codes, Trauma Codes, cardiac arrest, respiratory arrest external pacing, no call required Infant;Pediatric;Adolescent;Adult;Geriatric;

Registered Nurse, ER
Experience: 2 years
RN(Compact Accepted)
Certifications: ACLS-AHA; BLS-AHA; PALS-AHA; CERT-TNCC
Holidays: Every Other
