Position will be responsible for coordinating the movement of freight in and out of the port as well around the city and metro area of Savannah. Coordination requires expert communication between yourself, customers, drivers, and peers. Must be able to have attention to detail while working in a fast paced environment. Needs to have a solid foundation on how to manage emails, excel reports and various other data entry platforms. Has to be flexible in daily operations to be able to keep up with the ever changing needs of customers and operations. Expected to continue the culture that Outsource Logistics has instilled upon all employees in being eager to learn and grow, to take ownership of responsibilities while having a positive attitude toward customers, drivers, and peers. Education, Knowledge & other Requirements:

 

• Must be able to use a computer with the thorough knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, email and the Internet usage.

 

• Must be punctual to work and be able to handle stress and meet all deadlines in a timely manner with accuracy.

 

• Must be dependable and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, still with accuracy.

 

• Must be able to think critically, make important decisions, and solve problems, independently.

 

• Must have friendly verbal and written communication skills and be a responsible team player.

 

• Availability to work after hours, weekends and holidays, if needed.

 

• Must be able to provide EXCELLENT customer service.

 

• Must have a High School Diploma, College education preferred.
