MS-IL Staffing & Packaging and its local  clients are NOW HIRING 1st shift  Blending Operator in   the  Indianapolis, IN area!

Shift: 1st Shift, 6:00 AM-4:30 PM, Monday­ to Friday (mandatory overtime as needed)

Pay: $24/hr

Location: Park100

Summary:

The Blending operator is responsible for operating and maintaining equipment within their assigned area while adhering to all Customer, internal & regulatory policies and procedures. All Blenders are expected to follow the Blending Supervisor and Lead instructions and work as a team with all team members.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Following the blend sheet instructions
  • Weighing and pumping drums into designated tanks
  • Connecting rail cars and metering components into designated tanks
  • Mixing tanks
  • Taking tank and rail car samples to the QC lab for approval
  • Completing Blend Sheets with complete blend information
  • Complete daily, weekly, and/or monthly checks
  • Keeping the area clean and safe

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Prior chemical mixing or blending experience preferred, but willing to train!
  • Mathematical skills with an understanding of weight and measurement conversion
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent lifting and bending
  • Frequent standing
  • Willingness to perform repetitive tasks for long periods of time
  • In some areas, frequently going up and down stairs

PPE (PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT) Requirements:

  • Eye Protection
  • Hearing Protection (Only in required areas)
  • Specialty Footwear (Only in required areas)
