CT Technologist – Full Time (Days) – Radiology Department Location: Texas Health Alliance, 10864 Texas Health Trail, Fort Worth, TX 76244. Hours: Full Time (32 Hour) – Monday to Thursday, 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM. Sign‑On Bonus: Included for eligible candidates. Essential Qualifications Education: Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology (required); Associate’s Degree preferred. Foreign education equivalency must comply with CLIA regulations (CLIAFE). Experience: 1 year radiologic technician experience without ARRT‑CT required or no experience with ARRT‑CT required. Licenses & Certifications ARRT – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, R, upon hire (required) ARRT – CT (without radiology technician experience), upon hire (required) ARRT – CT (with 1 year radiology technician experience), 12 months required, upon hire (required) CMRT – Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist (TDH or TMB), upon hire (required) BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support, prior to independent patient care and maintained quarterly (required) Responsibilities Explain procedures to patients or guardians prior to exams. Position patients correctly for imaging. Perform complex procedures, adjusting technique parameters for age and developmental considerations. Assist radiologist with complex/invasive procedures using aseptic technique. Maintain attention to detail in image processing, quality analysis, and troubleshooting. Utilize PACS and HIS/RIS downtime procedures; send and transfer images, print laser images, coordinate scheduling. Provide patient care: assess emotional/physical condition, prepare examination room, verify orders, greet patients with two forms of ID, obtain history, manage IV/O2/chest tubes, monitor during imaging. Administer contrast media and other medications following guidelines. Use proper body mechanics, demonstrate knowledge of emergency drugs/equipment, and maintain phone etiquette. Operate, maintain equipment, troubleshoot malfunctions, document incidents. Maintain sanitary standards in equipment rooms between patients; stock supplies. Exchange and maintain film badges within designated time frames. Apply quality control and regulatory standards, remain productive during low workflow. Continuously enhance technical skills, attend education meetings, manage time, troubleshoot, and implement quality improvement. Perform any assignment assigned by supervisor.
