Supply & Inventory PlannerLocation: Beaverton, OR (Onsite — No Remote) Duration: 6 MonthsThe NA Supply & Inventory Planning Team owns inventory for the NA marketplace end-to-end (E2E); combining marketplace insights, inventory goals, and product hierarchy to shape supply in support of Consumer demand; and is a key partner on supply delivery, purchasing, inventory forecasting and inventory health. It has interaction across various stakeholders in the NA organization and the Global Supply & Inventory Planning teams.Who We Are Looking ForWe're looking for a NA Supply & Inventory Planner, who will support E2E Supply & Inventory Planning by a specific consumer segment. This role will support and participate in the planning execution, serving as the planning team's primary point of contact for all inventory planning needs. This candidate will ensure that products are planned, evaluate risks and opportunities, escalate issues, and communicate all relevant information within Supply & Inventory Planning and Consumer Planning/Marketplace Planning teams to drive positive business results. This role partners cross functionally, representing IP, and explaining key metrics and actions. The candidate needs to have proven track record of information seeking, analytical skills, resolving complex business issues and making sound decisions as well as the ability to communicate complex and/or business critical topics and concepts to a wide and diverse audience. This person will need to successfully collaborate with cross-functional team members on a regular basis and proactively address, resolve, and/or escalate any operational issues affecting the on-time purchasing of product and E2E inventory health.What You Will Work On• A typical day/week revolves around facilitating twice/month delivery planning process and ensure that materials are planned & purchased on the appropriate timelines under Demand Supply Management (DSM) function while supporting the marketplace supply strategy supporting global inventory health targets. • You will be responsible for executing and managing supply commitments through creation of purchase orders (POs) for procurement of the finished goods and the management of buy exceptions. You will maintain any changes to POs, including product movement from factory to distribution center. You will review POs for conformance to company policy and may address issues related to delivery. • You'll be conducting analysis to proactively identify challenges, at the same time be able to tell a story, driving clarity for your key stakeholders thru key business metrics. You will be asked to be the subject matter expert (SME) on projects and support key initiatives that have an impact to our day-to-day business. • You will proactively drive actions to keep a healthy inventory position in the assigned business. You will leverage multiple reports and dashboards to review key metrics, escalate any issues that will cause unfulfilled demand and/or a delay to the expected timelines. You will report and communicate to consumer planning teams delivery expectations, solutions to risks and opportunities and driving inventory health/productivity.Who You Will Work WithYou will report into the Supply & Inventory Planning Sport Manager, working closely with Consumer teams and Inventory Operations team to ensure your inventory ownership supports the E2E targets. You will also work closely with the Consumer Planning team, including Assortment Planning, Integrated Marketplace Planning and Merchandise Financial Planning as well as Global Supply Planning and Merchandising.Must-Have• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience • Minimum of 5 years of supply/inventory planning, or supply chain experience required • Comfortable analyzing demand supply data, reviewing large data sets to determine what supply to buy, determining what actions need to be taken at what time • Validated analytical skills, finding relevant information within large data sets and create executive story • Presenting to instructional forums, strong story telling based on data • Excellent written, spoken and visual communication skills. Specifically, well demonstrated capability converting complex concepts into easy to interpret stories that resonate across a varied audience • Strong knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, formulas, macros) • Strong knowledge of Tableau & Cognos • Must have tolerance for a complex, ever-changing and dynamic work environmentNice To Have:• Prior SAP ERP experience preferred • Microsoft Power Business Intelligence experience preferred • Experience with Apparel or other consumer goods with a high SKU count • Flexibility in switching from strategic to tactical and operational levels of thinking and working, specifically in strategy deployment • Superior interpersonal, influencing and facilitation skills with the ability to work both cross-functionally and cross-culturally, specifically fostering productive relationships between key players and immediate team • Comfortable with ambiguity and high pressure environments, dynamic work environment, highly cross functional communications between orgs • Ability to demonstrate good decision making in ambiguous circumstances • Participate on projects, including system releases, as assignedEducation / Experience Substitutions• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience accepted in lieu of degree
