What You'll Do
Working under the Program Director and Family Services Manager, you'll bring the Y Club program to life every day:
- Help plan and lead engaging, age-appropriate activities for middle and high school students
- Track attendance and manage a smooth, welcoming check-in process
- Build genuine relationships with volunteers, mentors, parents, schools, and community partners
- Keep the program space clean, organized, safe, and inviting
- Maintain accurate records — attendance, meal counts, temperature logs, and more
- Manage equipment and supply inventory
- Represent the Y at community events and support our Annual Campaign
- Stay sharp with ongoing training, including CACFP/SFSP compliance
- Champion program excellence in everything you do
What You Bring
- Age 18+ with a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with children in a structured or organized setting
- Ability to pass a DOJ/FBI LiveScan criminal record clearance
- Willingness to complete within 90 days of hire: Mandated Reporter training and CPR/First Aid (EMSA-approved) certification

The Day-to-Day Physical Side
This is an active, hands-on role: expect continual walking, standing, bending, and moving throughout your shift, regular lifting up to 25 lbs (occasionally overhead), plus steady reading, listening, and speaking to keep everything running smoothly.
