Job Summary and Qualifications This position supports the mission of HCAHealthONEof optimizingthe quality of life of all those served by expanding beyond the traditional focus on medical needs to the needs of the whole person.Under the supervision of the Nuclear Imaging Director, performs simple and complex radionuclide diagnostic procedures forpatientsages adolescents through geriatric.Performs all calibrations and quality control on equipment andmaintainsaccuraterecords.Responsible formaintainingexpert technical and patient-care skills and provides quality diagnostic results.Responsible for supply/inventory management.Quality Improvement activities, and the maintenance of a Radioactive Materials License. When need arises,willperform other duties as assigned by supervisor. What qualifications you will need: Completion of an AMA approved Nuclear Medicine training program.Current certification by NMTCB or ARRT (N).Mustmaintaincurrent registry.Attends continuing education activities tomaintainknowledge and skill level.Must maintainBLS,ACLS recommended. Completion of an AMA approved Nuclear Medicine training program.Current certification by NMTCB or ARRT (N). Prefer 3-6 years recent hospital Nuclear Medicine experience including nuclear cardiology.Skillscommensuratewith formal training requirements.
