About the Position

Job Title

Registered Nurse – Operating Room / PACU

Augusta, GA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days (3x12 Hours, 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct inpatient nursing care within a PACU setting serving an adult to geriatric patient population
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio within an 8-bed unit with an average daily census of 12
• Accurately document patient care and clinical information using Epic and related unit systems including Pyxis and SBAR
• Float within the facility and within scope of practice as operationally needed
• Work every other weekend as scheduled, and fulfill holiday obligations per assignment terms
• Adhere to all compliance, orientation, and onboarding requirements to ensure timely start

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in Georgia or a Compact state required at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant RN experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Proficiency with Epic (required), Pyxis, and SBAR documentation
• Full compliance with all onboarding requirements must be completed prior to start date

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a PACU or perioperative inpatient setting
• Familiarity with adult and geriatric patient populations in an acute care environment
