Senior Frontend Software Engineer

Role Description

We are seeking a Senior Frontend Software Engineer to join a product development team supporting a large-scale platform. This individual will be partnering closely with clients, designers, and engineers to build and maintain scalable frontend applications. The ideal candidate has experience working on complex product platforms and is comfortable owning technical direction within a client-facing environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain large-scale frontend product platforms
• Develop new features using TypeScript, Lit, Redux
• Lead frontend architecture and technical decision-making
• Own delivery and technical execution for assigned workstreams
• Collaborate directly with client stakeholders and engineering teams
• Mentor and support mid-level engineers
• Participate in code reviews and uphold engineering best practices
• Drive platform stability, scalability, and maintainability
• Work cross-functionally with designers, product teams, and developers

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of frontend engineering experience
• Strong expertise with TypeScript, Lit, Redux
• Experience writing and maintaining unit and integration tests using Jasmine to ensure code reliability and minimize defects
• Proficient in implementing WCAG standards to deliver inclusive, compliant user experiences
• Experience building and maintaining product or platform-based applications
• Experience supporting large-scale software products
• Strong frontend architecture knowledge
• Experience leading technical initiatives or engineering workstreams
• Client-facing experience and strong communication skills
• Experience working in embedded client teams
• Experience leading small teams or technical projects
• Experience in enterprise or platform-focused environments

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $120,000 to $155,000 and applies only to jobs performed in Culver City, California. This range represents the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. Please note that we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
