Shift Manager – Responsibilities Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience. A Shift Manager provides leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to ensure great Quality, Service and Cleanliness. Shift Managers perform tasks including: Planning each shift Monitoring performance during the shift Taking action to ensure the team meets McDonald’s standards Monitoring safety, security, and profitability Communicating with the next Shift Manager to help prepare them to run a great shift Meeting targets during their shifts and helping assigned departments meet their goals Key Responsibilities Food Safety Internal Communication Inventory Management Daily Maintenance and Cleanliness Managing Crew Quality Food Production Exceptional Customer Service Safety and Security Scheduling Training Qualifications Previous leadership experience preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail or hospitality environment. Must be 18 years or older and a positive team player with a flexible schedule and passion for a fast‑paced environment.
