Come join our TJX family—a Fortune 100 company and the world’s leading off‑price retailer. Loss Prevention Specialist Shift: B Shift Friday to Sunday 5:00 am to 5:30 pm or 6:00am to 6:30pm. Pay: $20.00 plus shift differential $2.00 Overview The Loss Prevention Specialist plays a key role in protecting the assets of the Distribution Center, with focus in the following areas: operational shrink control, internal investigations, safety, and shortage root cause analysis. This position will work a variety of ever changing assignments within the department to include roles designed to monitor warehouse access control, gatehouse and distribution control, operations auditing, and internal investigations. Will take direction from our Lead Specialist and reports to the Loss Prevention Supervisor. Responsibilities Provide protection of all company assets including people, property, and information Conduct theft investigations including surveillance via CCTV and covert equipment Transact, audit and support operational team with trailer yard activities Monitor alarm systems, building access, and fire and life safety regulations Monitors access control to main warehouse and inbound/outbound freight flow Serve as a business partner in the area of operational processes and inventory to reduce shrink Capacity to handle confidential information Attention to detail Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions Action driven, and results oriented Demonstrated ability to work well in a fast-paced and multi-tasking environment The Skills that will Make You Successful Relevant work experience in Loss Prevention, Asset Protection, Security and / or a Bachelor’s degree, or on track to obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant major Prior Military or Law Enforcement a plus Demonstrates positive energy, motivation, and flexibility Ability to successful work both independently and as part of a team Proficient in Microsoft Office Professional Suites and the ability to learn and use in-house software packages.
