Job Summary Position: Assistant Manager • Store #: 4701414 • Location: 610 W Raab, Normal, Illinois 61761 • Shift Availability: Flexible (Days, Evenings, Overnights + Weekends) • Time Type: Full time Benefits Medical, Vision, and Dental coverage Life insurance plus short- and long-term disability Flexible scheduling Weekly pay and paid vacations Stable, large employer with fast career opportunities Task variety and comprehensive training 401(k) with company match Performance and incentive bonuses Flexible spending / health savings accounts Tuition reimbursement Key Responsibilities Assist the Store Manager with oversight of station store operations Help with hiring, supervising, and working with staff to accomplish daily tasks, including bookkeeping and merchandising Maintain high standards and provide fast and friendly service to customers Ensure regular and predictable onsite attendance Execute the food program to the company's high standards Demonstrate sense of urgency, patience and leadership; set example for staff Required Skills Leading a team of employees and management Recruiting, interviewing, and hiring Delegation and follow-up Teaching and motivating others Planning and organizing Communicating plans and ideas Cash handling and bookkeeping Problem solving Advocating and empathizing Ensuring safety and security Preferred Qualifications Retail experience Supervisor or management experience Recruiting, hiring, and interviewing skills Experience handling food High school or college degree(s) Physical Requirements Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours Lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead for up to 30 minutes per shift Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level Push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds Bend at the waist with some twisting for up to one hour per shift Grasp, reach, and manipulate objects with hands; requires eye‑hand coordination; may require ladder work to store or retrieve materials or place/remove signs Compensation Hiring range: $17.50 to $17.75 per hour.
