They’re realistic, thoughtful parents who understand that the right nanny doesn’t just care for a baby — they help a household run smoothly. Your days will revolve around engaging, developmentally focused care for an active little one. You'll encourage new skills, spend plenty of time on the floor playing, head out for walks, read lots of books, cheer on every new milestone, and help create a predictable, loving routine. During nap time, you’ll jump in to help with bottle washing, baby and parent laundry, light tidying, vacuuming or sweeping, and simple dinner prep. Their friendly dog also plays a role in daily life. Early mornings matter here — Mom has a 6 a.m. gym class she’s quite committed to — so helping maintain her routine is part of the team effort. Flexibility, common sense, and clear communication are far more important than perfection. Grandma will be present to help a couple of days each month — while still guaranteeing your full 40 hours.
